The My Health, My Life Activity, a USAID/Zimbabwe-supported movie and social campaign,
will create a movement that breaks down message fatigue barriers around complex, intertwined health issues challenging adolescent girls and young women (AGYW) in Zimbabwe. The film facilitation guide that will be used by community leaders, locally based organizations, after-school clubs, individual viewers (primarily adolescent girls and their male counterparts) and others to facilitate discussions among young people in Zimbabwe after watching the movie. The goal of the guide is to spark critical reflection of the movie’s key messages by young people and to aid individuals and facilitators with various levels of facilitation training in stimulating open conversation with AGYW and community members about sexual health issues, positive masculinity, and empowered decision-making through the lens of the Shaina story and its characters.
